Treat every member with kindness.

Healthy disagreements are welcome. Personal attacks, harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hateful behavior are not.

We have zero tolerance for hate speech or targeted harassment based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

Support the actresses, creators, production teams, authors, artists, and everyone who helps bring these stories to life.

Constructive criticism is welcome.

Harassment, rumor-spreading, invasive speculation about personal lives, or encouraging hate toward public figures is not.

We love passionate conversations.

Share your theories, reviews, opinions, rankings, and excitement. Just remember:

• Don't present speculation as fact.
• Respect that others may interpret stories differently.
• Avoid arguments that become personal.
• Listen as much as you speak.

Help everyone enjoy new releases.

• Use spoiler tags whenever available.
• Clearly warn others before discussing major plot points.
• Don't intentionally spoil content for other members.

You're encouraged to create reviews, lists, fan theories, recommendations, playlists, and other community content.

By posting, you confirm that:

• Your content is yours or you have permission to share it.
• You give Sapphic Effect permission to display your content on the platform.
• You remain the owner of your original work.

Please respect the intellectual property of others.

Sapphic Effect celebrates queer media, but it is not an adult content platform.

Sexually explicit material, illegal content, or content that makes other members uncomfortable may be removed.

Some community spaces may discuss mature topics, but they must remain respectful and appropriate.

We love supporting creators.

Reasonable self-promotion is welcome in designated spaces. Spam, excessive promotion, scams, or misleading content are not allowed.

To create an account, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Provide accurate account information.

Creating fake accounts to evade moderation may result in a permanent ban.

Our moderators are here to help the community thrive — not to police every conversation.

When issues arise, we'll do our best to be fair, consistent, and transparent. Depending on the situation, actions may include:

• Friendly reminders
• Content removal
• Warnings
• Temporary timeouts
• Temporary suspensions
• Permanent bans

Severe violations may result in immediate removal without prior warning.
